Hello and Welcome. I am glad that you have gotten to my website. Whether you are seeking professional psychotherapy for yourself or a loved one, exploring the options available to you is one of the first steps. Finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable is important for your own self-discovery. I hope that my profile will provide you with enough information in order for you to begin to make that determination.

Many people become involved with a therapist at some point in their life for a myriad of reasons. It could be that a relationship has just ended and it has been difficult for you to move beyond it. Perhaps you have a recurring feeling that does not seem to go away no matter how much you talk about it with your friends, write about it in a journal or try to understand the feeling in another way. It may be that you are tired of waking up in the morning, saying to yourself, “today is going to be different and I am going to get through it without doing/thinking/saying x, y, or z” and find that by noon, you are feeling, thinking or repeating the same pattern that you have been trying to break for years. At this point, when you feel that enough is enough, it may be time to seek professional help. For many people, this realization may be difficult to acknowledge. It may be even more difficult to start the process of becoming involved in psychotherapy by making an appointment with a therapist. It takes courage.

Good luck with your search for a therapist. I encourage you to give me a call at 610-547-8416 to set up an appointment.
